Wall Mural Painting Project

The wall mural painting project appointed to us by the Indian Railways and sponsored by MIT-ADT University, Pune. Took place at the Uruli & Loni Kalbhor Railway Station. The main theme for the mural was about MIT-ADT University and Pune culture, heritage and to encourage cleanliness through beautification of a public space. The project initiated and carried forward by Sr. Division Commercial Manager Sunil Mishra and Chief Commercial Inspector Mr. Madhav Rao Annadata of the Hadapsar Railway station Baramati section was executed entirely by the students of MIT ADT University, School of Fine Arts and Applied Arts with guidance from faculty members. Honorable Executive President Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive Director Ms. Jyoti Dhakane, Hon. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Anant Chakradeo and Dean Faculty of Arts and Performing Arts Prof. Dr. Milind Dhobley. Supported the initiative by encouraging the students to take part and create a platform to express their creativity through Art. The event helped students develop a sense of confidence within the students as they actively took part from the conceptualization to the painting of the mural. They also were able to understand the importance of painting and fine art in public places and as a part of the functioning of the city in itself.
